Ousmane Kandji, associate consultant at Hivesia

Ousmane Kandji

ASSOCIATE CONSULTANT · ECONOMIC INTELLIGENCE

Associate consultant in charge of the Economic intelligence & sovereign watch practice, Ousmane Kandji runs the dedicated watch cells that Hivesia operates for its institutional clients and large organisations. Specialised in the geopolitical analysis of West Africa, he masters structured OSINT methods, complex stakeholder mapping and the reading of post-crisis dynamics.

His operational practice includes the continuous monitoring of high-sensitivity files (extractive corridors, political transitions, sector restructurings) with a high signal-to-noise discipline — favouring information that changes a decision, ignoring that which confirms what the client already thinks.

Ousmane is the lead author of the Hivesia Insights notes published on regional economic sovereignty.

Dr J. Karim, associate consultant at Hivesia

Dr J. Karim

ASSOCIATE CONSULTANT · SECTORAL EXPERTISE

Associate consultant bringing deep sectoral expertise on the structuring value chains of the West African economy: natural resources (mining, hydrocarbons, strategic agriculture), infrastructure (energy, transport, telecoms), and the governance of large public enterprises. A doctorate-holder in his field, he combines academic rigour with operational experience.

On Hivesia mandates, Dr J. Karim acts as a mobilised sectoral expert on files requiring fine technical reading: due diligence of energy assets, sector restructuring, design of sectoral regulatory frameworks, assessment of mining contractual risks.

He also maintains the link with the network of Senior Advisors mobilised case by case according to each mandate's needs.

Senior Advisors

A network of experts mobilised, case by case.

Hivesia mobilises, case by case, a restricted circle of Senior Advisors with complementary profiles: former senior officials, leaders of public institutions, first-rank legal and financial experts. Their identity is shared with the client ahead of each mandate, under non-disclosure agreement.
